Door County Seed Library Kicks Off Seventh Year!
March 17
Door County’s popular Seed Library program will kick off its seventh year on Monday, March 17 at Door County Library branches. The Seed Libraries will be open during normal Library hours. The Door County Seed Library is a community resource of gardening education and free vegetable, herb, and flower seeds that members can ‘check out’ to plant in their home garden. Although there is no limit on the number of packets that can be checked out, members are asked to only take what they need to plant in their personal garden, which is typically 6 to 8 packets. To become a member of the Door County Seed Library, complete a membership form at their website: www.DoorCountySeedLibrary.org. Membership is free.
