CANCELLATIONS, CLOSURES AND DELAYS: As of 3/15 9:00 PM
A countywide tow ban will go into effect at 9:00 PM Saturday and remain in effect until Monday
at 12:00 PM. During this time, vehicles stuck or abandoned on roadways may not be able to be
towed until conditions improve.
The Emergency Department remains OPEN always, but clinics, direct care, and out patient medical are closed and will be closed Monday as well. All appointments and patients are advised to call ahead.

Closures for Monday
Door County is notifying residents, county employees, and local media that all county government locations and operations will be closed Monday, March 16, 2026, except for essential services. All non-essential county departments and services will be closed. Essential services will continue operating to protect life, safety, and critical County functions.

- All Door County Y locations will be CLOSED Monday, March 16 due to severe winter weather. All programs are cancelled. Only approved Door County Y 24/7 members have access to facilities (at their own risk).
- Washington Island Ferry Service Update for Sunday & Monday (March 15&16):All trips cancelled Sunday AND Monday
