2nd Annual Door County Jazz Festival
Jazz is taking over Door County! The 2nd Annual Door County Jazz Festival features a documentary screening and live performances all across the county: Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, Baileys Harbor and Sturgeon Bay. Enjoy a full week of jazz in all its forms, set against the natural beauty and charm of Door County in summer. This year’s festival celebrates the centennials of jazz icons Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Tony Bennett and kicks off with a free documentary screening of Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool on Sunday (Aug 2nd) at the Sturgeon Bay Cinema. Then take in performances during the week, culminating in Sturgeon Bay at Martin Park Saturday from 11am -5pm for “Singers Saturday”, dedicated to Tony Bennett. This festival is presented by the Door County Jazz Foundation. To donate, learn more and find the schedule, visit doorcountyjazz.org.
