Eastern Screech Owl Nest Box Workshop

Saturday, March 1 from 12:30-1:30 pm an Eastern Screech Owl Nest Box Workshop will take place at the Ridges. Participants will meet at the Ridges Workshop to build eastern screech owl nest boxes to take home to hang and invite owls to move into their backyards. A Ridges staff member will provide the materials needed to assemble owl nest boxes and provide guidance. Fee: Public $50, Member $45. Pre-registration is required for the workshop. A Meet & Greet with Open Door Bird Sanctuary with birds of prey will take place on Saturday, March 1 from 1:00-3:00 pm: This free event takes place at the Nature Center and is staffed by Open Door Bird Sanctuary who offer an up close and personal chance to see live birds.
