Door County Medical Center will host the annual Pause to Give Life event—a statewide Donate Life Flag-raising ceremony and moment of silence that promotes not only the mission of organ, tissue and eye donation, but also honors donors and their families. At 1:08 p.m. the Donate Life Flag will be raised and will be followed by a 1-minute, 14-second moment of silence in honor of the more than 1,400 people in Wisconsin alone who are currently waiting for a lifesaving transplant. April 10th is also ‘Wear Blue & Green Day’ in support of organ donation!
